Notes from Inside the Belly

I wanted to show you how much I have grown with each scan. My first scan was taken when I was twelve weeks. By twelve weeks I have a heartbeat , it was measured at 147 bpm. My parents were so happy to hear a strong and healthy heart. At this stage they did not know I was a female (XX). This meant that my Mummy's egg (oocyte) was fertilized by Daddy's X- sperm, which produced me. I know that it was a real race to get to the Mummy's egg usually the Y -sperms are the fastest and get there quicker, and the X-sperm take their time., however the X-sperm are more viable and live longer! Anyway enough talking about my conception.....let me show you my first scan, when my parents saw me for the first time. You can see my head and body forming well, my major organs are strating to form. This scan makes me look like I have huge feet!

My Journey called Life

My Mummy (Samantha Kozak) and Daddy (George Kozak) tell me that I am now 27 weeks old. Which means that I am officially a human being and in case I arrive early I have a good chance of surviving in ICU! Yipeeeeeeeeee!
Let me tell you a bit about myself (I don't officially have a name yet, my parents are still deciding).
My Mummy had another one of those special scans, which tickle. I was happily having my morning snooze , and before I knew it I was being tickled, this really woke me up and I started to do my happy dance so my parents could see my "sweet dance moves" on the monitor. My Mummy told me that I am in the "head down" position, I was so worried when she first told me, but she explained to me and put my mind at ease. She said that being in the "head down" position is good for when I arrive into the world.
I have three more months until I am born into the world. I have to say it is getting a bit cramped in here as I am growing plumper and my lungs are getting strong. I even had hiccups yesterday, I heard my Mummy laughing and this made me hiccup more. I am starting to notice when it is dark and light. You might think I look a bit funny at the moment because my body is growing faster than my head. My brain cells used for conscious thought are now growing mature. This means that I am beginning to remember things and learn....yes I can hear you out there! I am learning more and more from my parents everyday about what the big wide world is all about.
Every day my Mummy rubs her tummy with special oil, and I love it. It feels like I am getting cuddles and I feel safe. I am looking forward to seeing my Mummy & Daddy , I wonder what they look like? I hear them talking and laughing , it sounds fun out there. My Daddy has a loud funny laugh, when he puts his hand on my Mummy's belly, I like to give his hand a little kick , it makes him laugh more.
Next entry I want to show you some of my photos! Until then, I must get back to my happy dance.
